Sculpture

Less common than her two-dimensional paintings, prints and drawings, Mac’s small sculptural works range from realistic to stylized to abstract. She sculpted with terra cotta clay and wood. Sometimes she incorporated found objects–bones, rocks, and metal pieces–into her 3-d works. She also decorated greenware plates, mugs and tiles with prehistoric designs and made several functional teapots.
